WIND FOR GOODS #2, Saint Nazaire June 1-2, 2023 :

NEOLINE at Wind For Goods, the international event dedicated to wind-powered shipping!

The teams at Nantes-based shipowner NEOLINE are fully committed to the ecological transition, and were delighted to take part in this second edition of Wind For Goods in Saint Nazaire.

It was a real pleasure to meet and exchange ideas with the players in the growing ecosystem of the wind propulsion sector on the challenges of decarbonizing maritime transport.
Progress has been made on numerous projects, such as the Neoliner, which is expected to sail its first transatlantic route in mid-2025, and whose construction has been entrusted to the Turkish shipyard RMK MARINE.

On the stand for the christening of the 1/200 scale model of the Neoliner 136m: the NEOLINE team salutes the exceptional work of Maquettes Bertho, and thanks you for brilliantly rising to the challenge to deliver this very first model of the Neoliner in time for Wind for Goods!

Jean Zanuttini takes part in the financing conference program, and on Friday, Olivier Barreau from Grain de Sail shares his thoughts and ideas with us on stage.

For our loader pioneers and partners of the first Neoliner :
Hoisting and maneuvering the Solid Sail mainsail with Chantiers de l’Atlantique: June 1, 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
We were delighted to welcome our partners from the Turkish shipyard RMK MARINE on board for this extraordinary visit. Our pioneering shippers made the trip, and logistics and supplychain teams from Groupe Beneteau, MANITOU Group, Michelin, Hennessy, Longchamp, Rémy Cointreau and La Fournée Dorée were able to see for themselves the impressive 76m Solid Sail rig that will be installed on the Neoliner.

We’d like to thank you all for your presence and support for the RespectOcean project, as well as our institutional and financial partners for these rich exchanges on the subject of maritime transport under sail.

Thanks to our partners at Chantiers de l’Atlantique for a great time at Wind for Goods!

This 2nd edition was also an opportunity to meet up with members of the industry, and we were able to see the meteoric evolution of wind propulsion for commercial vessels over the last two years!

Bravo and thank you to Nantes Saint Nazaire Développement and the region for supporting the local wind-powered ship industry and the WindShip Association, while opening up international horizons.

Thanks to @Arte for capturing this high point with NEOLINE’s partners in its report “Les cargos à voile ont le vent en poupe” on June 3, 2023, and for the interview with Jean Zanuttini at Wind for Goods 2023:
